The thermal behaviours of the compounds of the title have been investigated in dynamic O2 and N2 atmospheres by conventional Thermal Analysis methods and IR spectra of the residue on heating. N-Ethyl-Thiourea and N- β Allyl- Thiourea undergo complete pyrolysis in two steps but in single step N,N1- Diethyl-thiourea. The presence of thiocyanate has been identified in the solid residue on heating for endothermic isomerization reaction with in temperature range 200-220°C.
