3-Substituted-S-triazolo (5,4-b) naphtho. (2,1-d) thiazoles have been synthesized from 2-hydrazioonaphtho (2,1-d) thiazole. Mass spectral fragmentation of these compounds revealed that the thiazole ring did not undergo cleavage whereas the triazole moiety was more suceptible to electron Impact.
