A new bidentate ligand 2~amino-4-p-Chloro-phenyl)-Thiazole and its complexes of general formula; M (ACPT) (AA)2 where M=Mn (II), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (Il) and Zn (II), ACPT=2-amino-4-(p-chIoro-phenyl) thiazole and AA=Acetyl acetonate (C5H7O2)-group, have been prepared and isolated. Newly synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, Conductance measurement, magnetic moment, I. R. and electronic spectral studies. All the complexes are found as monomeric and a distorted octahedrel geometry is assigned to all of them.
