In this review, we have reported the reaction of substituted pyrylium salts with some of the most important nucleophilic reagents, such as carbon nucleophiles (C-Nucleophiles) and nitrogen nucleophiles (N-Nucleophiles). We also study characteristics and properties of the parent systems.
