Synthesis and Spectral Characterization of Mixed-Ligand Phosphine Complexes of Rhodium (1) With 1-Phenyl Tetrazoline-5-Thione

The reaction between 1-phenyltetrazoline-5-thione and [RhX(Pf)3] (X = Cl–, Br–, I–, NCS–, SnCl) in benzene as well as in monoethyl ether of ethyleneglycol were carried out. All the isolated solid products have been assigned Trans-square planer configuration, having general formula [RhX(Pf)3 (ligand)2] using various physico- chemical data.
