A series of N-aryl-2-(3-oxo-1,4-benzothiazin-2-yl)acetamides have been synthesized by condensation of substituted anilines with 2(H)-oxo-3,3a-dihydrofuro[3,2-b][1,4] benzothiazine. The structures of the synthesized compounds have been established on the basis of elemental analysis and spectral data. All the synthesized compounds have been tested for their antifungal activity.
KEYWORDS:Aminothiophenol; Maleic anhydride; Benzothiazine; Antifungal
