The mesogenic main chain polymers were synthesized and their different properties are studied. These polymers exhibit mesomorphic properties and having higher thermal stability. The fluorescent spectra of all the monomers and polymers is taken in solution state at room temperature . It is found that fluorescent efficiency of polymer is higher than those of the monomers it is proposed that the excitation and emission bends have their origin mainly in the presented groups ester, amide keto etc. Auxochrome and chromophore are responsible for increases fluorescence guide. It is believed that difference in internal structure of these organic materials is responsible for the observed change in the fluorescence behavior. All the polymers are characterized by the standard method.
