The Schiff bases 5-chloro salicylaldehyde morpholine N thio hydrazone (SMTH), 3 hydroxy benzaldehyde isonicotinic acid hydrazone (3-HBINAH). Butyrophenone semicarbazone (BSC) were prepared by standard methods and characterised by determination of melting point, elemental analysis. The complexes of these ligands were prepared with oxomolybdenum (V) and dioxomolybdenum (VI) by standard methods and characterised by elemental analysis electrical conductance, magnetic susceptibility IR and electronic spectral measurements and TGA.
