Vinyl compounds containing copolymer films have been synthesized by copolymerization of furan with methylmethcrylate initiated by benzoyl peroxide. The synthesized copolymer films were characterized by IR and 1H NMR. Their properties viz., electrical conductance, solubility, chemical resistance, permeability, softening range and molecular weight were studied.
