Condensation of various diketone (la-1f) with hydrazine hydrate in absolute ethanol led to the synthesis of 3-substituted phenyl-4-(8-quinolinesulfonyl)-5-(1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-1H-pyrazole. Structure of Newly synthesized Pyrazole derivative were established on the basis of spectral studies viz : IR 1H NMR 13C NMR. Newly synthesized compounds (2a-2f) were screened for their antimicrobial activity against Alternaria brassiciola, Fusariumudam, Staphylococcus, and Lactobacillus.
KEYWORDS:1,3-Diketone; hydrazine hydrate; Pyrazole; absolute ethanol; antimicrobial screening
