Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of 8-Substituted-7-Fluoro-Benzo[4,5]Thiazolo[2,3-C][1,2,4]Triazole

We synthesized 7-substituted-6-fluoro-benzothiazol-2-ylamine(M2) from 3-Chloro-4-fluoro phenylamine. 7-substituted-6-fluoro- benzothiazol-2-ylamine on treatment with hydrazine hydrate gives 7-substituted-6-fluoro-benzothiazol-2-yl-hydrazine(M3). And than prepared 8-substituted-7-fluoro-benzo[4,5]thiazolo[2,3-c][1,2,4]triazole (MV1-5) by treating with triethyl orthoformate. The derivatives were synthesized by treating with various substituted aromatic amines. Antimicrobial study shows that synthesized compounds have moderate activity.
