Complexation Behaviour of Mercuric(Ii) Acetate Towards Nucleobases

Binary complexes of the form [HgL(OAc)], L = adenine, guanine, hypoxanthine, uracil and cytosine have been synthesised and characterised using elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR and Electronic spectra.
