In view of the 4f-behaviour studies related with two major aspects, (i) the variations in tie nepheiauxetic ratio vs partial charge on ligand donor atoms and (ii) the J correlation of the oscillator strength values for some prominent electronic assignments have oeen worked out tor tome mixed ligand complexes involving NTA. HEDTA. CDTA and EDTA as primary ligands and ,α-alanine, β-phenvlaianine. histidine. Iso-nicotinic acid hydrazide and adenosine tri-phosphate as secondary ligands. The correlations revealed a direct dependence of the electronic spectral parameters and the nepheiauxetic ratio (nte) values on partial charge on the ligand donor atoms . The J (oscillator strength vs J quantum numbers) correlations exhibit semi-sigmoid curves will varying magnitudes which indicate that the 4f-feature ot lanthanoid is preserved even after compexation.
