Formation constants for the interaction of Kojic acid with bivalent metal tons in presence of dicarboxy lie acids (viz., Oxalic acid, Malonicacid, Succinic acid, Glutaric acid and Adipic acid), Maleic acid, Fum aric acid, Iminodiacetic acid, Hydroxyethyliminodiacetic acid and Nitrilotriacetic acid are reported at T = 30°C and I = 0.1 M KN03 in aqueous medium. Factors contributing to the stability of the ternary complexes are discussed.
KEYWORDS:Iminodiacetic acid; Hydroxyethyliminodiacetic; Nitrilotriacetic
