The preparation of fifteen new bridgehead nitrogen heterocycles containing indole [2,3-c] or'[3,2-c] isoquinoline systems as main nucleus is described. The structure of all these new compounds was established on the basis of their spectral studies. These compounds were screened for their antifungal, antibacterial and anthelmintic activities. Most of these compounds were either moderately active or inactive.
