Spectrophotometric Studies of N, O and S Containing Heterocylces With Cu (II) Complex

Spectrophotometnc investigation on Cu(ll) complexes with chalcone and N, 0 and S containing heterocycles have shown 1:1 complex formation at about pH 3.0. The change in colour of solution from light brown to dark brown, showed the commencement of complex formation. 1:1 complex formation is confirmed by Job's variation method. Conditional stability constants of 1:1 complex are determined by spectrophotometnc technique.
