Activated Nitriles in Heterocyclic Synthesis: Synthesis of Pyrano[2,3-C] Pyrazole Derivatives

Several pyrano pyrazole derivatives were obtained from the reaction of 1,1-dicyano or 1 cyano-1- ethoxy carbonyl 2-arylethylene and N-substituted-3-phenyl-5-pyrazolone.
