Abstract:
Sulphuryl chloride fluoride and sulphuryl bromide fluoride compounds have been prepared and its Laser Raman Spectra have been recorded on a Cary model 82 grating spectrophotometer with an Argon Laser source. The observed frequencies have been assigned to various modes of vibrations in terms of fundamentals and combinations assuming Cs point groups. The thermodynamical properties of the title compounds have been reported for Meal gaseous state at 1 atmospheric pressure for fifteen temperatures from 298.16°K to 1700°K using a rigid rotator, harmonic oscillator approximation.
