Inductively Coupled Plasma/Mass Spectrometry (ICP/MS) has been used for the determination of Ag, Al, Ba, Cd, Co,Cu, Fe, Li, Mg, Mn, Ni, Pb, and Zn in drinking water samples collected from Riyadh Metropolitan. The concentrations of different elements were measured and compared to the maximum concentrations allowed by Saudi Arabian Standard Organization (SASO). Precision has been calculated by analysing many replicate samples. This technique is precise, simple, easy to use and less time consuming than most other methods.
