Synthesis of 1-[Substituted 1, 4-azin-benzox-3-(2H)-onyl-1-oxo-]-3-methyl pyrazoI-5-ones IIa1-7 1 -[substituted 1, 4-benzoxazin-3 (2H) onyl-1-oxo-methyl]-3-methyl, pyrazol-5-ones IIb1-5 and 1-{substituted 1. 4-benzoxazrn~3 (2HV-onyl-methyl-oxo-] IIc1-3 have been reported. 4-hydrazido/4-hydrazinoacetyl/4-hydrazkfoacetyl, 4-benzoxazin-3 (2H)-ones were condensed with ethylaceto acetate in dioxane followed by cyclisation in refluxing O-dichlorobenzene to give targetted pyrazoles IIa, b, c. The structures of these compounds were confirmed by IR,NMRand elemental analysis.
