Study on Distribution of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Sulfur and Chlorine in Raw Plant Materials Used in Medicine-Herbs and Leaves

Abstract:
The concentrations of total nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur and chlorine in commercial raw plant materials used in medicine taken from species growing in Poland, were determined. It was established, that proposed analytical procedures are suitable for determination of non-metals in plant material. Species of medicinal plants, which have the highest and the lowest concentrations of the elements were identified. It was also proved, that there are some relations between levels of particular non-metals among herbs and leaves,"•
