Synthesis and Characterization of Some New 2,5-Diaryl-1,2,4-Triazolo-(3,2-b)1,3,4-Thiadiazole-6-Thiones as Potential Pesticide (Fungicides)

Abstract:
The new 2,5-Diaryl-2-Triazolo-(3,2-b)1,3,4-Thiadiazole-6-thiones have been synthesiszed by refluxing N1-aryl-N3 (5-aryl-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2yl)thiourea and thionyl chloride in presence of DMF solvent. All the Synthesized compounds have been screened for their fungicidal activity two have shown good to fair activity.
Keywords:2,5-Diaryl-2-Triazolo-(3,2-b)1,3,4-Thiadiazole-6-thiones have shown fair antifungal activity.
