Abstract:

Diclofenac s in a class of drugs called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Diclofenac is used to reduce pain, inflammation and stiffness caused by many conditions, such as osteorathritis, rheumatoid arthritis, abdominal cramps associated with menstruation, and enclosing spondylitis. Diclofenac may also be used for purpose other than those listed in this medication guide. Keeping in a view of the previous study done by (Elder and Smith, 1997) shown Diclofenac caused significantly higher cell death at elevated dose, so we have put our efforts to rule out the toxic menace of Diclofenac in rodent’s (Swiss albino) by administrating different doses ranging from 0.1 mg/kg body weight to 10mg/kg body weight the other doses are 0.3 mg/kg and 1mg/kg.
