Abstract:
In present study smoking emerged as a significant modifiable risk factor in MI patients.There were 41.46 percent patients were smokers with high total cholesterol (>200 mg/dl). The total cholesterol was found to be statistically significant when smokers and nonsmokers were compared in different age group (P<0.05) in urban, rural and slum population of M.P.
