Abstract:
Bromoacetates of composition MO2(OOCCH2Br), MO2(OOCCHBr2), MO2(OOCCBr3), MCl4(OOCCH2Br), MCl4(OOCCHBr2), MCl4(OOCCBr3), M(OOCCH2Br)5, M(OOCCHBr2)5, M(OOCCBr3)5, WO2(OH)(OOCCH2Br), WO2(OH)(OOCCHBr2), WO2(OH)(OOCCBr3) and their complexes MO2(OOCCH2Br).1/3C5H5N, MO2(OOCCHBr2).1/3C5H5N, MO2(OOCCBr3).1/3C5H5N, MCl4(OOCCH2Br).C5H5N, MCl4(OOCCHBr2).C5H5N, MCl4(OOCCBr3).C5H5N, M(OOCCH2Br)5.(C6H5)3PO, M(OOCCHBr2)5.(C6H5)3PO, M(OOCCBr3)5.(C6H5)3PO (where M=Nb, Ta) were prepared and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, infrared spectral, molar conductance and magnetic susceptibility studies.
