Sex Related Differences in Blood Glucose Levels of Human Subjects

ABSTRACT:

A total number of 187human subjects (30 normal + 60 diabetic females and32 normal+65 diabetic males) were studied to observe the effect of sex on their fasting blood glucose status. It was found that both normal and diabetic females had higher level of fasting blood glucose as compared to males indicating that females are more prone to hyperglycemia than males.
