Stability Constants of 2-Amino-3-Methyl-5-Nitro Benzenethiol With Bivalent Metal Cations

The successive stability constants of the complexes-2-amino-3-methyl-5-nitro benzenethiol with various bivalent metal cations have been determined in (60% v/v) acetone-water mixture at 25 ± 0.1°C and constant ionic strength μ= 0.1 M (NaCI) by adopting the pH titration technique of Irving and Rossotti1.
