Spectrophotometric Studies on Iron Complexes of 6-Methyl Flavonol and 4-Methoxy Flavonol

Iron forms 1:1 violet color comlex with 6 - methyl flavoool and 4 - methoxy - flavonol at pH 1.2 -1.5 with working wave length 520 nm and 430 nm respectively. Values of molar absorptivity, Sandell's sensitivity, stability constant and free energy of formation were calculated.
