New Hydrocarbons from Gliricidia Sepium

Two new hydrocarbons namely n-octacosan-1 -al and n-hexacosan -1-al from the leaves and another rare hydrocarbon, n-heptacosane from the petioles of Gliricidia sepium have been isolated and characterized by the combination of chemical reactions and spectral data analysis.
