Comparative Study and Modification in Hexabromide, Polybromide and Semi-Siccative Oils Tests

Hexabromide, Polybromide and Semi-siccative oils tests are performed for detection of adulteration of unsaturated oils in oils and fats. In all the three methods suitable modifications have been suggested in the prescribed methodology, so that uniform results can be obtained, while testing the presence of 1% linseed oil in ground-nut/mustard oil.
