Ground water samples from rampura- mathania blocks were collected and analysed for major cations and anoins and for other other chemical parameters by standard analytical methods. While analysing the samples it was observed that the water samples of Daijar and Bejnath villages have Electrical Conductivity 1352 and 1308 microsiemen/cm, but the sulphate was found to be negligible and the bicarbonate contents were very high. It was also observed that water have bed smell of hydrogen sulphide. The water also created a major problem of Corrosin on well screens of most of tube - wells.
