Potentiometric equilibrium measurements have been carried out at 30°C in different proportions (40, 50,60 & 70% v/v) of methanol-water mixture for the formation of binary complexes of Cu (II), Ni (II), Co (II), ZQ (II) and 2-[ [ (lH-benzimidazol-2-ylmethyl) imino] methyl] phenol (BMIMP). The ionic strength was maintained constant by using 0.1 M NaClO4 as the supporting electrolyte. Stabilities of these complexes increase with an increase in methanol content.
