Eight flavonoids aod a new p-coumaric acid ester have been isolated from the chloroform extract of the aerial parts of A. monosperma. The structures were elucidated by spectral methods* Four fiavonoids were isolated for the first time from this species; among them two have not been previously reported from the genus Artemisia, which is of chemotaxonomic importance.
