Diuretic and Antibacterial Activity of Cu (II), Ni (II) and Co (ll) Complexes With Hydroxycoumarin

Cu (II), Ni (II) and Co (II) complexes with the synthesized 8-amino-7-hydroxy-6-ethyl-4-methyl coumarin (AHEMC) have been isolated and characterized with the aid of different physicochemical techniques. Ligand and their metal complexes have been screened for their diuretic property on Albino rats and antibacterial activity on S. aureus and E. coli bacteria.
