Structural Studies on the Complexes of La (III), Pr (III), Nd (III), Gd (III), and Dy (III) with N ∝ Naphthyl Oxamic Acid

Complexes of La(IIl), Pr(IIl), Nd(III), Gd(III) and Dy(IIl) withN-∝-naphthyl oxamic acid of the general formula ML, (where M = La(lII), Pr(III), Nd(IlI), Gd(IIl) and Dy(III) have been prepared. The complexes have been characterised on the basis of elemental analysis* thermal and infrared studies. The ligand behave as a monobasic bidentate-O-O donor.
