The kinetics of reduction of manganese (III) ethylene diamine tetraacetate in aqueous solutions was studied iodomefrically and was found to be first order in Mn(lII). The order with respect to EDTA is one and zero at low and high concentrations, respectively. The reaction rate is accelerated by the pH till 5.5, thereafter it is retarded by it.
