The laser irradiations have been widely utilised in investigating the biological metabolism of higher plants. The morphological and biological changes inmung seeds (Vigna mungo) due to different period of irradiation has been carried out in laboratory with Argon ion laser at 515 nm. The variation id root and shoot length fresh and dry weight, DNA, RNA protein and chlorophyl content shows a definite relationship between exposure of laser irradiation and degree of expression of biological response.
