Some Trimeliitic acid amides (II-XIX) are prepared by condensation of trimellitic anhydride with different substituted aromatic amines in glacial acetic acid. N4 Sulphanitamide* Sulphathiazole, and Sulphaguanidinetrimellitoyl amino acid combinations (XX-XXIII) are also synthesized and reported. Some of the synthisied compounds are found to posses antimicrobial properties towards a number of microorganisms.
