Effect of Organophosphate Pesticide Metasystox on the Levels of Dopamine, Norepinephrine and 5-Hydroxytryptamine of Rat Brain

Metasystox (O, O, dimethyl-S-2 ethylsulphinyl) 4 mg/kg body weight was injected intra peritoneally daily for 10 days. The daily ip dose of Metasystox depleted the levels of Dopamine, Norepinephrine and 5-Hydroxytryptamine in the cerebral hemisphere, cerebellum and brain stem of rat brain.
