The complete study of sugar composition of non cellulosic polysaccharide contents mainly hemicellulose isolated from Shorea robusta have been carried out. The paper chromatography and gas liquid chromatography of the purified hemicellulose fractions have been studied and results are recorded in (table 1) and Fig. 7,2 and 3 respectively for the preparation of alditol acetate derivatives of hydrolyzate from wood dust have been discussed.
