It is shown that acetonitrile, n-butanol, 2-butanone, i-propanol, n-propanol and methylorange form defined 1:1 inclusion complexes with a-cyclodextrin in aqueous acidic medium. The dissociation constants of these complexes have been determined for various temperatures by spectroscopic means analyzed with a Marquardt non-liner regression method, Isoequilibrium relationships are found and discussed on the basis of recent theoritical descriptions.
