The ion exchange reaction between anion exchange De-Acidite FF 510 (OH-form) and CI−, SiO3and PO4 -3 were investigated in the temperature range 25°-75°C, Diffusion of the CI−, SiO3 − and PO4 -3 anions through the resin phase is found to be the rate determimning step in the exchange. Using an equation of the Arrhenius type D2 —D1 exp(-Ea/RT) the activation energy were found to be 4.882, 3869 and 3.224 K. Cal. / mole for the three anionic species respectively. The sorption of the anions were found to be markedly affected by the particle size of the exchange, temperature and by the valency of the used anions. The increase in exchange rate with decrease in particle size of the anionite, with increase in the valency and with increase of temperature have been discussed.
