Complexation of Hg (II) With 1-Azepinyl-3-(P-Chlorophenyl Sulphonyl) Urea, an Oral Antidiabetic Drug

Glypinamide, 1 -AzapinyI-3-(p-ChlorophenyI sulphonyl) urea, (trade name, painase) forms 2 :1 complex with mercuric acetate in alcoholic medium as indicated by conductometric titration and Job's method of contioaous variation modified by Turner and Anderson. Structure assigned to the complex is supported by analytical data and I. R. spectra.
