The members of the first transition series form relatively labile complexes. The composition of the chloro complexes of copper (I) has been determined polarographically. Cu (I) CI-2, Cu (I) CI-3 and Cu (I) CI-7 Cu (I) CI-5 type addition complexes have been detected for Copper (I) chloride alkati metal chloride, copper (I) chloride-alkaline earth metal chloride systems respectively.
