A series of imines, Ar(cyclo-Pr)C = N ∼ R, where Ar = thienyl, cyclo-Pr = cyclopropyl and R=Me, iPr, iBu, sBu' tBu or Bz have been prepared and thoroughly investigated by 1H and 1sC NMR spectroscopy and their chemical shifts reported for the first time. The stereochemistry of these imines has been assigned on the basis of their NMR data. These were found to exist in solution as an equilibrating E/Z isomeric mixture at ambient temperature.
