Study of the Natural Products from the Stem of Zornia Gibbosa Span

A Computer study of the powdered stem of Zornia gibbosa was made. Two types of cellulose group enzymes, 7 types of Hemi-ceilulcse enzymes, 15 types of saccharides with glucosamhie. 3 types of algenic acids, One Xylans arbinoxylon ( β-D-xylopyranosyI unit), one Polytrans( β-D-glucopyranasyl unit ) were detected. Carbon, Oxygen, Nitrogen and hydrogen were found among the major constituents in 49.5%, 44.2%, 0.12% and 6.3% respectively. Salts of Calcium, Potassium, Sodium and Magnesium were found in varying percentages. Percentage, of ash, lignin, starch and dihydroquercetin were found to be 0.2%, 23.9%, 0.897 and 0.653% respectively. Microfibrils measured 4 x 8A°.
