Synthesis of Some New Disperse Dyes Derived from N-phenyl Naphthylamine

Various mono azo disperse dyes have been synthesised by coupling reactions between N-phenyl naphthylamine and five diazo components. The dyes were applied on polyester and nylon fabrics and the fastness properties of the dyed fibres were evaluated. The chemical structures of the new dyes were confirmed using
