Reactions of aromatic thioamides, LH, with [Ru(NO)Cl3(PPh3)2] yields [Ru(NO)Cl3(LH)]. The complexes have been characterized by analytical, IR, U.V and Visible spectral and magnetic measurements. The presence of u(NO) at 1830- 1840 cm-1 indicates a {Ru NO}6 configuration.
