A of complexes containing Hg-Hg bond with derivatives of 1-para substituted phenyl tetrazoline-5-thione have been prepared and investigated using elemental analysis, conductometric, magnetic, IR, UV-vis and 1H NMR spectra data. All thioamide ligands acts as bidentate (N,S) and no disproportionation of Hg(I) occurs during complex formation.
