The reaction between primary amines and aldehydes and the resulting Schiff bases are well known. In this paper, we propose the synthesis of title compounds by the condensation of 2:5-dimethoxy aniline with substituted benzaldehydes by 3 different methodologies and compare these methods of synthesis in terms of yield, time etc. Thus showing the superiority of green technique i.e. microwave method over the other two methods employed.
